Timothy Hain, M.D.

Timothy Hain, M.D., is a Professor of Neurology, Otolaryngology, and Physical Therapy/Human Movement Science, at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Hain is also the vice-president of the American Hearing Research Foundation. Locally, Dr. Hain is known as the "dizzy doctor". His medical practice in Chicago, at Chicago Dizziness and Balance, "revolves" around disorders of the inner ear.
He received his M.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he also completed a residency in neurology. He completed his fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University with a focus on neurophysiology and neuro-ophthalmology.
He has written more than 90 papers and chapters, largely on subjects related to dizziness and hearing disorders.
