We are proud to announce that Brian Tyler, award-winning film score composer, actively supports the work of the American Hearing Research Foundation. Born and raised in California, Mr. Tyler attended UCLA and Harvard before becoming a composer. Some of his well-known works include scores for The Expendables, Fast Five, Fast and Furious, Eagle Eye, Constantine, The Lazarus Project, Battle: Los Angeles, Hawaii Five-O, and Rambo, in addition to writing the new NFL theme for ESPN and the Universal Studios 100th anniversary introduction.
In 2010, Mr. Tyler was inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and won Composer of the Year at the 2013 Cue Awards and was nominated for a 2014 BAFTA Award. He taught himself to play thirty musical instruments, and was chosen to compose the music for the Steven Spielberg TV series Terra Nova. He has written the scores to over sixty films and television programs, and has conducted the London and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestras. His films have grossed $6.7 billion worldwide.
