Thanks to our many generous supporters and friends, the AHRF raised $2,320 for the Chicago Walk4Hearing, which took place on October 14th in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. The walk had more than 25 teams, and raised more than $70,000. The donations will be split between each teams’ charities of choice, and the Hearing Loss Association of America, which organized the walk amd more than two dozen similar walks in cities throughout the United States.
AHRF Executive Director, Sharon Parmet, participated in the 5K Chicago walk. While it threatened to rain throughout the walk, it only started raining about a half hour after most of the walkers finished. There were approximately 300 walkers.
