Leadership

Greg Olson

“I have suffered from Meniere’s Disease the last couple of years, and numerous close relatives have suffered major hearing loss and other issues due to Otosclerosis, which runs in my mother’s family. I have been looking to become more involved in volunteer work, particularly with organizations and causes that I am truly passionate about, and the close link between AHRF’s mission and my personal experiences instantly excited me about working with the organization.”

Greg Olson brings over two decades of experience spanning engineering, management consulting, and executive leadership in strategy and analytics. Throughout his career, he
has worked across a wide range of industries and functions, developing innovative solutions for operations, marketing, finance, and other functions. This breadth of
experience has made him a jack-of-all-trades, able to quickly understand complex challenges and contribute across virtually any area of an organization. He currently serves
as Vice President of Strategy and Analytics at Grand Fitness Partners, a leading Planet Fitness franchisee with over 90 locations. Prior to this role, Greg was Vice President of
Information Management Services at AlixPartners and later founded his own independent consulting practice. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Greg has been living with Meniere’s Disease since 2023 and is deeply committed to advancing research, treatments, and awareness for vestibular and hearing disorders.
Additionally, his mother and several other family members have experienced hearing loss and balance issues due to otosclerosis. Greg is eager to contribute both his professional expertise and lived experience to support the work of the American Hearing Research Foundation.
