The AHRF has hired Apex Management & Special Events, a non-profit management company, to manage the operations of the organization. Founded in 2002, Apex manages both nonprofit and association clients, and is headquartered in Elmhurst, IL. Kimberly LaBounty will serve as AHRF’s Executive Director and will continue the work of her predecessor in an effort to advance the mission of Better Hearing Through Research. LaBounty has served as the Executive Director of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of Illinois and leads other organizations currently in her role at Apex. “As someone with family who has struggled with balance issues I am honored to be part of this great organization.”
